Conference 2012

On Saturday, November 17, 2012, WCRG hosted it’s first biennial research conference “Bridging Research and Hope”. The conference was attended by 100 research scientists, clinicians, nurses, administrators and students who came together from our local and neighbouring communities such as London, Toronto and Michigan. Attendees participated in oral and poster presentations and shared their cancer research findings in the areas of basic science, clinical trials and patient care. Overall, the conference was met with great enthusiasm and served as a platform for the initiation and strengthening of cancer connections amongst researchers. Plans are already underway for our second conference in 2014.
